EDIT - 18.02.2020: Added a new D-pad. The new D-pad has angles by each direction, reducing the chance of mis-clicking diagonally. Check my Amiga-gamepad page for new back pieces with better leverage for the D-pad for less force required. I haven't made a dedicated back piece for this one yet. Gamepad for Atari consoles and computers. Some pictures show my Amiga gamepad, which is the same internally and uses the same switches. Apply pieces of double sided tape to the underside of all the buttons to give a less hard feel. Leave the protective film on the double sided tape. I wired mine up with lengths of wire and glued then into the bottom half of the gamepad with a drop of superglue under each switch. The sliding switch is there to turn the rightmost button into an "up" function so that you can play without having to use the D-pad to jump. You can wire it so that it switches between button 2 and up, or however you like.
