Based on Fairground attraction, this working model is a ferris wheel approx. 700mm. All components are made on an Ender 3v2. - 220x220 bed The only additions are a small assotrment of m3 set screws and nuts, and a length of 4mm threaded bar. The drive is a tiny standard geared motor powered by a 9 volt (PP3) battery. Files for the gearbox are included. I've used string for the drive belt, as it reduces friction on the pullies, as opposed to a rubber belt or 'o' ring (which are too elastic). You can email me at 1@cooltogo.co.za if you require geometry layout and file location diagrams and also a short video. A total of 6 Mb in 38 files. The pods are printed in 2 parts and glued together. No supports are required. There is an optional tensioning rod to find the 'sweet spot' of the drive. Approximately 1 revolution in 45 seconds.
