She was a fearsome sight, her upper body that of a fierce woman with dark, piercing eyes and a perpetual scowl, her lower half a monstrous scorpion. Four powerful legs crushed the ground beneath her, while a giant, venomous sting arched menacingly over her back. Nerissa rage was legendary, born of an ancient curse that bound her to the desert sands. Once a noble queen of a prosperous kingdom, she had been betrayed by those she trusted, transformed by dark sorcery into her current terrifying form. Now, she patrolled her realm with relentless fury, her round, angry expression striking terror into the hearts of all who crossed her path.
