BOBAIL : ancient African traditional game The board is 5 squares on a side and each player places 5 pieces on his side. A different counter is placed in the center of the board, this is the Bobail. Movements Players take turns playing. On each turn, the player first moves the bobail and then one of his counters. The bobail moves in all directions one square at a time. The counters also move in all directions, but they must go all the way to the end of their move (to the edge of the board or to meet another counter or the bobail. The object of the game: to bring the Bobail back to a square where its own pieces were at the beginning.Or to encircle the Bobail so that the opponent cannot move it at the beginning of his turn.
