my version of Torquil Role in the story: Torquil leads a group of escaped prisoners and thieves who encounter Prince Colwyn during his mission to rescue Princess Lyssa from "The Beast." Evolution: Although initially presented as a cynical bandit leader concerned only with his own survival, Torquil becomes one of Colwyn's most loyal allies, contributing his men's strength and courage to the cause. Notable companions: His band of outlaws includes characters portrayed by actors who would later become very famous, such as a young Liam Neeson (Kegan) and Robbie Coltrane (Rhun).
