This is a 1:48 scale model of the STOKE Space Andromeda upper stage reusable vehicle based on their renders. Everyday Astronaut had a great factory tour video a while back and it is worth the watch to see the engineering behind this vehicle and the evolution from "Hopper".The model features retractable landing legs, opening cargo fairings, and a detailed engine section showing the tiles, thrusters and the locking sockets for a future NOVA Booster.Included is a display stand for the STOKE and for the satellite at deployment from the cargo fairing, and a 4x6 mini poster to support your display. The cargo adapter is print-in-place with hinges for the cargo fairings.I had the best results printing the main hull of the STOKE upside down. The landing leg sleeves have an internal notch to hold the landing legs up in flight mode. Turning the landing leg lug out at the end of the leg sleeves locks them to support the model on the ground as shown in the photos. Note: The landing leg has a sacrificial disk on top to force supports for printing vertically. The STOKE can be printed in white, silver and black PLA. The accessory satellite is print-in-place with fold-able solar panels. Decal images are provided for the STOKE and for the accessory satellite panels. The STOKE is shaping up to be another exciting vehicle in the new space race. I hope this model will enhance your collection and also serve as a great STEM subject.Check out my other space models-NASA Orion Artemis and HONDA…
