The handle of each screwdriver has a “waist,” meaning a narrowed section near the bottom. This design is based specifically on using that waist as the fixing area. The construction of these holders allows you to insert different screwdrivers with different handle diameters. It is not limited only to screwdrivers — it can also hold files, heavy-duty pry tools, and basically anything with a similar handle shape. The convenience is that you do not need to aim for a small hole every time. You can simply insert either a small or a large screwdriver into any holder.
