Proxy for the Champion This 60 ton mech was designed as a heavy reconnaissance and fast strike mech. Though it was popular with the SDLF, it was considered to be too large for a recon mech, and too lightly armed for a fast strike mech. During the Succession wars the Champion factory was destroyed and eventually the remaining mechs faded into obscurity due to lack of parts and no new production.
