Memory box

This box is part of my collection of memories of foreign trips. This one is Marrakech. The body of the box is 3d printed, using black and gold PLA on a Creality Ender 3 V3 K printer. The colour change is just simple pausing the print and changing the filament. Each gold band is 2mm wide. The lid is also 3d done, this time on the 3d CNC, a Sainsmart 3020. The wood is from Morocco and is THUJA the burr root of a Juniper tree. The brass inlays are cnc cut with a 0.5mm router cutter, the brass is just 0.5 x 1.0mm. A simple enough thing to make but has built-in memories of a great trip!
