Hello everyone! I present to you my new watch design. It is a mixture of steampunk style and wristwatch mechanism. The main feature of this design is switching days of the week, months and dates. The switching principle is as follows: by rotating the lower handle clockwise you switch months (more slowly), and by rotating the same handle counterclockwise - dates. The days of the week are switched by rotating the wheel on the left, but the change of days is not cyclical like dates and months, having reached Sunday, you will have to rotate the wheel in the opposite direction to return to Monday. Since I like to twist something, I made it so that to change dates and months, I had to twist quite a bit. The rotation of the lower wheel-handle itself is accompanied by a cracking sound as if you are winding the watch. In addition to gears with a reduction gear ratio, there are parts imitating mechanisms: a spiral spring, pipes, air cylinders. The watch can be installed on a stand made in the same style, or hung on the wall. However, there is one problem. To install the clock on the wall, you will have to fix two screws in the wall. The distance between their axes is 210 mm. This is necessary to compensate for the shift in the width of the center of gravity of the clock. It is slightly shifted towards 9 o'clock and the clock would hang crookedly on the wall, mounted on one screw.
