US Coin Sorter Revision

It’s been 5yrs since I published my coin sorter. It was not perfect, but it worked. As time went on, a few flaws were found. Specifically, occasional jams and the last coin not feeding. There were a few other things that I found annoying over time. High time to review the design.I started looking at the biggest issue of the occasional jams. I quickly spotted the design issue, and it was not anything I had thought of previously. From there I was committed to fix everything I knew of.I ended up touching almost every part, thus the new publishing even though at first glance nothing has changed. The jamming is fixed. Last coin feed issue is fixed. Better rigidity. Better ergonomics removing the sorted coins. Crimp storage moved to the back for a cleaner appearance. It’s basically the same as my original.1 of the M3x10 screw is to hold the small gear onto the crank. Use a washer with this.The other M3x10 is at the left of the sorting rail with a nut in the base.1 M3x20 goes though the Axel. Place a washer over the large gear, then install a nut.The other M3x20 is installed in the top of the hopper with a nut in the base.2 of the M3x16 screws are installed in remaining spots in the hopper, Nuts for these are in pockets located in the base.The last M3x16 is for the knob.
