Accessibility: It allows multiple people to look at the specimen at the same time, which is great for teaching. Lock the Focus: Once you have the microscope focused, tap and hold on your phone screen to lock the focus (AF Lock). This prevents the phone from "hunting" for focus while you move the slide. Lower the Brightness: Microscope lights are often too bright for phone sensors. Turn the microscope's light down or use the exposure slider on your phone (the little sun icon) to avoid "blowing out" the white parts of the image.
