This is a high-detail 3D printable model of the Hughes XF-11, a rare experimental reconnaissance aircraft developed in the United States during the 1940s. Designed by Howard Hughes, the XF-11 was intended to be a high-speed, long-range photo reconnaissance aircraft capable of operating at high altitude. The aircraft featured long laminar-flow wings, twin radial engines, and distinctive contra-rotating propellers, giving it a powerful and advanced design for its time. Although only two prototypes were built, the XF-11 became famous as one of the most ambitious reconnaissance aircraft projects of the late WWII era. The model captures the aircraft’s sleek twin-engine layout, long wings, large reconnaissance fuselage, and powerful propeller nacelles, making it a great addition to experimental and prototype aircraft collections.
