Hi everyone !As a Ping Pong fan, let me introduce you a fun game to play table tennis on your own! For once, you can challenge a partner who seems to be up to you The game is actually a miniature ping pong table. All you have to do is to simulate a rally between the two sides of the net. The Micro:bit records the score and ends the game if you smash the ball twice in a row with the same side of the racket. This object needs to be assemblied very carefully and it might not work correctly for a long time. Feel free to share any idea of improvement ! You will need : 1 3D printer + filament (including transparent if it is possible) 1 BBC Micro:bit 1 3V coin cell battery +1 coin cell holder 1 transparent sheet protector Aluminium foil Glue Crocodile clips + wires Insulating adhesive tape Step 1: Print the parts Simply download the STL file of the parts on this page. Next, you will have to slice the parts. That means to generate a code, representative of your 3D part which your printer will be able to understand. This action is called “slicing” because your printer prints layer by layer and the software needs to calculate the path that the printer's nozzle will follow. Make sure to use the appropriate slicer for your 3D printer, ask your teacher if you need help! Don’t forget to print the Micro:bit case alone with transparent filament.
