Description

One of the several adaptations I make to the same chassis model depending on the body to be used. In this case, I wanted to "dress" a Peugeot resin with which C. Sainz raced the Dakar. According to my measurements, I give the chassis 94mm of wheelbase. Swing arm. And engine cradle, too. This one has the rear axle integrated in the cradle, so the tilting is together with the engine. This way the cradle does not suffer from the height variations of the rear axle. The chassis is made in full 3d. Cradle, body, arm, suspensions. Everything. Including the guide. I do not know what level of competition can acquire the model itself, because I do not compete. But I can assure you that at home it works great. In the attached photos you will see that aesthetically is not quite right, because the axles used from a cutting ninco, were short, and my intention at first was to have done 4x4 through pulleys, but not to go cutting axle I left it that way. We recommend at least 70mm axles. The shock absorbers are homemade. The springs are ordered to make the suspensions myself. We recommend medium springs at the front and hard springs at the rear. And / or as I do, springs of 25 mm to which I remove a few turns on the front axle. All the bolts used are from m2. It is recommended to print everything in Petg. In the pictures you will see grey parts. It is abs. I wanted to take advantage of a remnant that I had left and mix materials depending on the piece. The resolution for small parts…
