SPOOL Recycling Parts

Always seems a complete shame to throw away a Spool Reel, as regards the environmental issues, recycling and the whole 3D Print purpose. Especially as we use ePLA made from recycled filament and plastic, the spool is cardboard here too! Printing a whole filament reel/spool that separates takes a lot of time, energy, filament too [for a strong good one!]. The availability of refills of filament to cut down on packaging, weight, posting, costs ... it's all pointing to us doing more if we can... This 'thing' is a few parts that can be printed quickly at a low setting of 0.3 layer height and low fill. A HUB* spaces out the reels sides, An AXLE aligns all those parts together, A LOCK RING keeps it together, And a SPACER allows a bit of width adjustment [that's up to you]. I have two HUB*S supplied here, one of 50mm and one of 46mm, use the one that suits your filament refill width, together with the SPACER ring(s) as it is best to keep the refill tight in the reel. updated 2020-07-20 AXLE INNER.stl to allow smooth rotation AXLE BEARING.stl to modify older AXLE INNER.stl, print 2 off, glue them in.
