I've always liked those pots and planters that have a flat back on them, for mounting on walls or whatever. And so, here's my contribution to the idea! A screw hole at the top can remain decorative, or actually be used to fasten the planter to wood, like I did. Alternatively, you might want to put magnets on the back, and stick it to the fridge, the side of your car, your favourite sword, or any robot passing by. You might need drainage holes, depending on what you're actually using it for, but that's the beauty of 3D printing - it's not hard to quickly stick some holes in a design!
