When you make designs with several pieces you have to give them some space between them, depending on whether they have to fit together or be a little loose. With this test you can find out how much space you can leave for your printer or your settings. The ring has an inner gap of 10mm by 10mm and the tower increases from 9,50mm to 10,10mm so you can see how tight it is and know what space you have to leave between the pieces.
