Additionally, as an Amazon Affiliate I earn a small commission on the purchase, which helps supports my work! This is a model of Zanka's vital instrument, Lovely Assistaff. I've designed the parts intentionally to be easy to print, minimize supports, and look the best right off the printer bed. I designed it to fit on a Bambu P1S print bed but the parts do not need multi-color printing to achieve the look. So this build you will need to purchase two 5/8 in diameter wooden dowels. When purchasing try to bring one of the rod pieces to test the fit. Try not to buy oversized dowels as you will need a ton of sanding. If the rods are loose, add a couple layers of thin packing tape at the end of the dowels. This will make the parts at the ends stay in place while letting the other parts slide into place. BUY ONE 5/8 IN DOWEL MEASURING 48" LONG AND ANOTHER THAT IS 14.5". The wooden dowel lengths above and the recommended part count will result in a prop that is about 6 ft tall. If you want it longer you can print more "Basic Rod" pieces and add them after the "Blue Rod Lower". Then add 6.5" inches to the second rod. EX.
