Thralls set (32mm) pre-supported The four figures shambled into existence within the necromancer's circle, their forms a blasphemy against life itself. They were not mere reanimated corpses, but creatures that had continued to rot and mutate under a sustained torrent of dark magic and virulent plague. Their bodies were grotesquely swollen, flesh bubbling with internal corruption and stretched thin like rancid parchment over distended limbs. Their anatomy had been rewritten by decay; one zombie's arm ended in a cluster of bony, twitching claws, while another's head had split open like overripe fruit, a nest of slick, worm-like tentacles writhing where a face should be. They stood as a chorus of stench and pestilence, each more a lump of sentient disease than a being. There was no flicker of past humanity in their sunken, milky eyes—only a cold, directive hunger instilled by their master. They moved with a dreadful, inevitable slowness, but their touch was instant death. The very air around them grew thick and putrid. Where their oozing feet touched the ground, moss blackened and stone corroded. They did not fight; they merely advanced, spreading their condition like a visible fog. To be grazed by a dripping pseudopod or caught in their miasmic breath was to feel one's own flesh rebel, to begin the rapid, agonizing transformation into something like them. They were not an army, but a walking plague, the necromancer's final argument against the living world.
