They resemble sharks with four leathery wings, long tails and sharp protuberances stretching out from their heads, above their jaws, that they use to impale enemies and breach the hulls of spelljamming ships. Star lancers are intelligent and communicate telepathically. They have formed alliance with Githyanki, especially Githyanki headhunters, who are fond of using star lancers as mounts, since they have innate ability to turn themselves and their riders invisible.
