Thulu – The Drowned Warden Long before the oceans rose and the world forgot its oldest fears, Thulu was born in the deep places beneath the sea—where light dies and time no longer matters. He is not a destroyer like the great elder horrors whispered about in forbidden texts. Thulu was created for a different purpose. He is a warden. When an ancient ocean temple sank into the abyss, its creators bound Thulu to it as a living lock—small in stature, but eternal in duty. His rounded, almost harmless appearance is a deception; within him sleeps a fragment of a god’s will. His glowing amber eyes burn with awareness, watching, judging, waiting. The flooded halls answer to him. The water bends. The relics remain sealed. Sailors who drift too close to forgotten trenches report strange encounters: A squat figure standing calmly in the shallows. Unblinking eyes glowing through the dark. A feeling that turning back is the only mercy they’ll be given. Thulu does not hunt. He does not rage. He waits. And when the seal is threatened, the deep remembers why he was made.
