Female-headed jug at The British Museum, London by Scan The World

The 4th century BC saw the production of some of the most elaborate jugs in human form. The unknown woman wears a rosette headdress and jewellery that was originally gilded. At the base of the sprout are two seated female figures and at the front, a bust of a woman. The whole was brightly painted. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
