Description

This is an exhaust system for the K2 Pro with a blower fan. The fan, if you choose to build it uses a 24 mm 5v fan, a 12mm on/off switch, a usb C connector and a 5mm led and resistor. All of the non print parts are cheap on amazon. I glued the flange end to the manifold before I installed that, and the control plate has to be glued to the fan housing. All of it will print without support, but I chose to use support on the peak of the manifold and the inside of the "box" for the fan control. If you choose not to build the fan, just print an extra 100mm pipe to replace it. The pipe and elbow unions are designed to print with Overture HS Tpu, it's hard but flexible. I printed all of this with 4 wall loops and solid infil, it's thin. In my experience even when printing ASA the temperature in the manifold does not get above about 50 C so PLA worked for me, you may have a different experience. The outside diameter of the exhaust pipes is 4" so you can hook this directly to a dryer vent from the hardware store.I did have to re-locate my buffer to the CFS box, but this works with the external spool holder, and it will fit around a bolted on poop chute.
