Wearable / 3D Printable A historically accurate Spangenhelm inspired by medieval craftsmanship. Featuring segmented plates reinforced with rivets, this helmet evokes the armor of warriors from the early Middle Ages. Ideal for reenactments, cosplay, or display. !!Before printing, adjust the size to your head!! Helmet Measurement Guide: Head Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the head, just above the eyebrows and ears. Record the measurement as the overall head size. Face Width: Measure the distance between the widest points of the face (cheekbone to cheekbone). Face Height: Measure from the middle of the forehead (hairline area) to the tip of the chin. Add Allowance: Add 1–2 cm (about 0.5 inches) for comfort and breathability. Printing Details: Layer Height: 0.2 mm for a balance of detail and print speed. Supports Needed: Organic supports are best for rounded shapes and overhangs. Model Cutting: If your printer's build volume is limited, slicing the model into parts in your slicer software can make printing easier. Post-Processing: Sanding, priming, and painting can replicate a metallic finish. Add padding or a liner for comfort when wearing.
