Automatic Fish Egg Collector – Fluval Breeder Box Compatible This model is designed to work with the Fluval Breeder Box. It helps collecting eggs from egg-scattering fish such as Celestial Pearl Danios (CPDs), zebra danios, and similar species. The collector sits at the bottom of the tank and allows eggs to safely fall through the grate and get sucked up by an airline tubing connected to the back of it into the protected chamber outside the tank. This helps prevent adult fish from eating the eggs and makes it much easier to collect and raise fry. I originally designed this while breeding CPDs in a 10-gallon tank. Adding a small clump of Java moss on top of the grate encourages the fish to spawn, and the eggs naturally drop into the collector.
