In this American animated series, "Avatar" designates a unique being capable of mastering the four elements (water, earth, fire, air) and tasked with maintaining balance among nations and the spirit world. The Avatar is a cyclical reincarnation who learns to master these powers to ensure peace. The series blends Asian influences, philosophies, and martial arts, following the young Aang, the last surviving Air Nomad and current Avatar, on his quest to stop the war led by the Fire Nation.
