The e*thirteen bottom bracket bearing preloader (APS) is in my opion not a good design. This design attempts to address some of the issues: - better fit to the crank anti rotation flats so there is less play between the APS and the crank. - larger thread so is stronger and less likely to cross thread. This was designed for the Helix Alloy cranks. It might fit other e*thirteen cranks but I can not confirm. E13, e-thriteen, e*thirteen, helix, crank, bottom bracket, bike, mtb, enduro
