The Army Painter wet palette insert

05/05/25 EDIT#2 Found the extra wells to be useful. Made the top most, large wells without bottoms so you can fill them with water. My thoughts is that it will seep into the sponge as it dries and also act as sort of a water level indicator. I was just adding water to the outside edges previously. EDIT I made a new version with a .2mm bottom layer and lowered total height to 3mm. I found it was slightly too tall to squeeze in with a brand new sponge and the rubber seal I added. My idea is that printing 1 single bottom layer might be permeable enough to assist in keeping paints moist.. Remixed from a few other free designs. Fits the standard (not XL) version Probably way more paint pots than needed but if you seal yours (I used 3mm rubber striping tape along the edge. Could also try taping off and plastidipping the lip/edge) like I did it will last MUCH longer than the 48hr max time AP recommends. Another report said their paints were still good 2 weeks later with the original version of this in an UNSEALED box..
