Historical background: The T100 was a Soviet prototype tank destroyer developed during World War II, designed to mount a 100mm gun. It was intended to provide a mobile platform capable of taking on heavily armored German vehicles like the Tiger and Panther. The T100 used a modified version of the T-34 chassis, which was lengthened to accommodate the larger gun and additional ammunition storage. Although the T100 showed promise during trials, it was ultimately overshadowed by other Soviet tank destroyers, such as the SU-100, which used the same 100mm gun but was easier to produce and more reliable in combat. As a result, the T100 project was canceled, and only a few prototypes were built. Despite this, the T100 contributed to the overall development of Soviet anti-tank tactics and vehicle design during the war.
