Description

This design is a 160m x 16 cm RC robot sumo body. It was originally meant for a 15x15cm sizing, but, is modified to be used for a different competition as I needed to accomodate a larger motor driver. You can adjust it as you please or use it as it is. The motor used for this project is a Jsumo Profast, and the main electronic used is an arduino nano mounted on a v3 Breakout board. although, the original tire is too small to reach the ground. So I included a tire mold for the original aluminium wheel provided with the Jsumo Profast. The design is meant to keep the Centre of Gravity as low as possible to keep the robot from popping a wheelie due to the torque and speed of the motor. Did I mention that the robot has to be under 500 grams?
