Description

Printable aerator replacement support: no raft: no material: PLA (cold water only) or GreenTec Pro (or other more heat-resistant material) from https://extrudr.com/de/shop-eu/?locale=de sealing ring: TPU (or elastic) all parts: layer height: 0.15mm (or less) infill: 50% (or more) Here I have constructed a perlator for the classic faucet. It took some time, because I first had to understand how the thing works exactly. Today I managed to create a product with which works very well. What I'm particularly pleased about is that the sealing ring can also be be printed. To avoid the need for support structures, this perlator is later made from 2 parts. No glue is needed for this, as the whole is held together by the pressure. It can also happen that the one part can be pressed a little into the other and then (intentionally) jams. Despite this, or precisely because of this, the bottom of the larger part has a centered hole at the bottom so that the upper part can be can also be ejected with a thin pin. If one aerator is calcified, simply print a new one. So also the idea behind it. Approx. 3.5g of material is required per specimen, which is why the bottom line is that it's worth it, instead of in the store, I think 2 pieces for 1€, to buy new ones every time. I recommend the use of GreenTec Pro, which can be found here address (https://extrudr.com/de/shop-eu/?locale=de), as this material holds its shape much better than ordinary PLA. Precisely because it is also quite hot water…
