This locally-produced heavy fighter, distantly related to the more commonly encountered Thunderbolt, featured heavily in the closing days of the imperial civil war. With poor maneuverability at low altitudes and a dangerously exposed propulsion system, the craft was poorly suited for ground attack work. However, its speed and performance at high altitudes, combined with a pair of lethally accurate long-barreled autocannons made the fighter especially dangerous when either escorting or intercepting bombers and reconnaissance aircraft. Fighting on both sides during the conflict, it was ultimately a shortage of pilots with combat experience that led to horrific casualty rates among its pilots. Compatible with any 8mm scale wargame. Fits most standard flight stands. Comes in air and ground versions with a variety of ordnance. Painted miniature courtesy of VarianceHammer.com
