On my 3D printer, the extruder, the plastic precision arm (Nylon, ABS...) more exactly broke, so I replaced it. On the original extruder, there was also a problem with the pneumatic connector. The filament was getting stuck at its entrance. I removed it and replaced it by a nut system directly screwed on the PTFE tube. It's really more solid and without any play. And now the filament glides along amazingly well. To do this, you need to cut the PTFE tube cleanly, tuck a spike or a small nail about 3 to 4 CMS long and 2 to 2.2 mm in diameter inside. This is to allow the tube to keep its inner diameter, imperative for the filament to slide in very easily. Then in the chuck of a cordless drill, or at least with a slow variable speed, we put a M4 nut. We turn, with a light pressure well in line (block the tube in a vice), the nut against the end of the PTFE tube, so that the nut makes a thread on this one and by turning more and more. possibly according to the quality of the tube, its external diameter, its thickness, we will be able to improve the quality of the threading with a die If the end of the tube is a bit "chewed", cut it straight. Attention, very important, the driving pulley must be without groove (Ø 11 mm). The pressure roller is fixed with a 12 mm long M4 screw The "block-tube" is fixed with 2 screws with agglo M3 10 mm long.
