MACRO RING for CANON EF-S 18-55 IS: modification This ring allows you to easily modify the focusing distance of your Canon EF-S 18-55 IS version 1 lens (see photos). Its installation requires a quick and easy modification of your lens. Once installed, it will enable your lens to focus between 5 mm and 30 mm from the lens. You'll benefit from very high magnification and the ability to take detailed photos of small objects. This modification is reversible, and does not deteriorate the optical quality of your images, as no lens is added. The ring is screwed onto the front thread (Ø58) of the lens.
