This is a little trebuchet that I made so I could print it. My intention with the open end is to stack quarters or nickels in there and rubber band them in place. As for the throwing end, all you should need is some thread and a small patch of cloth. Tie or sew the thread onto each side of the cloth. Then tie a loop in one of the pieces of thread this will loop over the uppermost part of the arm. Then tie the other end to the trebuchet's arm in the small hole. I designed this so I could print it on a 100x100x100 printer, but this should scale find.
