Description

There are two case variants, the "Air" one can be used with/without fan and has vent holes, and the "Plain" one is for using without fan and is fully closed. I use a 5v 40x40x10mm fan powered from the same USB line, pulling air from the case. As previously said you can use the holed case with or without the fan. If you want the fan, you need four M3x30mm bolts else you need four M3x16mm bolts as clossing hardware. Assembling notes: Before assembling the PCB: -Use a 3mm drill for remove the self contained support layer on the four main bolt holes on the rear part. -Use the same M3 bolts fo create the thread on the front plastic part. -Use the two original PCB screws for create the threaded holes on the PCB support, rear part. -Superglue the 125Adapter you want to the front part. You have two 1.25 inch adapter options: 125AdapterShort is 20.4mm length (+7mm of the filter ring= 25.4mm or 1inch) 125Adapter is 31mm length (+7mm of the filter ring=38mm) and the -Superglue a standard 1.25'' filter ring (without the glass) to the 125Adapter, this can be used as thread for an easy removable IR cut or color filters. -Please share your results! ----- UPDATES ----- Jan/14/17: Added 125AdapterShort.
