This is designed to allow stacking of feather boards for work pieces that have a vertical aspect. Feather boards are commonly used in Woodworking to hold work pieces against a guide for travel through a table saw or other cutting tool. Occasionally the piece being worked is taller than it is wide. This presents a problem with tipping or otherwise being unstable vertically. These Risers are designed so that Kreg feather boards can be stacked in order to extend the feathering higher. Although the Risers are designed to nest to whatever height required, there will be a limitation regarding the length of the bolts anchoring the assembly to the surface.
