Born to a peasant farmer and the eldest of five children. Jeanne’s family tilled the land that hugged the shore of Greypeak’s Lake Weil. She was often tasked as both caretaker and matriarch of her family even in her youth, with her mother frequently experiencing bouts of illness that would span seasons.
