These are molds for making 5.75" soft plastic ribbed stick worms. There a 3 version of the stick bait mold, a single Cavity, 3 Cavity, and 6 Cavity. (same worm just different cavity options) The 3 and 6 cavity version have the option of doing core shots by inserting 1/8" rods into the mold before the first injection. Although I have included this feature into the design I have not tried it yet so I don't even know if it's possible to get the molds back together after the first shot. Lubing one side of the mold with worm oil may help if you try this. The Single Cavity Mold requires a 7" x 1.5" print area for each half. The 3 Cavity Mold requires a 7.5" x 3.5" print area for each half. The 6 Cavity Mold requires a 7.5" x 6.375" print area for each half. This Worm was designed to take a 5/0 Worm hook but works wacky rigged too. (see last picture) More info and pictures can be found at https://www.theneverendingprojectslist.com/fishingprojects/ribbedstickworm/ These are 3D printed plastic molds so you have to be careful with your temps and injection pressure. I printed this mold in PLA+ and try to inject my Plastisol at or around 300°. (I use Dead On Plastix's brand of Plastisol) You also need to use very little pressure on the injector when shooting these types of mold. If you use a lot of pressure when injecting a 3D printed Mold... you can/will blow through the mold. Start light and work up with the pressure if you do not get a full injection or you have bubbles. It's better…
