Description

NOTE 1: I don't have a 2.0 Module, so this is tested for the 1.3 module only. I only had a CAD model of a 2.0 module to try with Fusion360 if it fitted in the pegs, and it did, but again, I haven't personally tested it. I'd appreciate if someone with the 2.0 module could test it. I'd do any modification needed. NOTE 2: Put the anchor point in the opposite side of the ribbon cable slot or the holes will not align! A no fuss alternative camera holder for pbroeder's arm mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3778486). Use it together with TeachingTech's flexible webcam mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3223979). The fit of the original model by Modmike is so bad that I decided to make my own, but instead of using complicated fittings, snap-fits, sliding rails or other methods that require a precisely tuned printer... I just put 4 screw holes and that's it. Simple and clean. You'll need 2 or 4 M3-0.5 screws, depending on how secure do you want it to be. 6 to 8 mm long. I used 16 mm long because that's what I have and I don't mind them protruding from the back. I might get the Dremel tool out and cut them at some point... I've provided two anchor points, one in the back piece and one in the front piece: You'll need a Back piece with the anchor point and a front without it. Or the back piece without anchor point and a front with it. Or, hell, print both anchor points. Who am I to stop you?! Post some Makes if you print this! Like and comment if you ended up using this…
