Cosplay prop for Luke Nukem (the microwave) from Date Everything! the game. It's been split into multiple parts for printing and painting, including a front, middle, back, and handle section. The knob has a mechanism to make a clicking noise when rotated. 8 magnets can be fitted into the recesses between the front and middle sections to make access to the emptied out front section easier. I placed warm LEDs in the front section with an orange translucent film glued behind the hexagon "mesh" to give it an orange glow when turned on. I left access to the front portion where the LEDs and battery pack stored open to turn the LEDs on and off. The handle is glued in place after painting, and the bottom twist-y portion is glued to wires that go with the rest of the costume. Removable for storage and in case of tugging wires. I printed in ABS in order to sand the parts and had good results! The flat portions in the middle section can be delicate and susceptible to snapping if pushed on though, if printed right-side-up.
