Hi Everyone, Welcome to my bed topper design for the 1984-89 Toyota Hilux XtraCab bed by RC4WD. This design is based on the Brahma Camper Shells that were popular in the 80's and 90's in the Toyota and Ford scene. This print requires no support and for a full walkthrough please visit the RockSlugCustoms Youtube channel in my profile. Guide: -The main shell has the window panels filled in with a 0.6mm wall. This is to ad rigidity to the print for the thin structure running close to the edge of the bed. -These panels are easily removed using a sharp utensil(my video guide described the process with in detail) -For the best results, all parts exluding the main shell, should be printed on a smooth bed. This adds to the effect of a more realistic scale camper. -Fuzzy skin should be applied to the outer surface of the main shell(barring the windows) -For users with smaller printers, please use the 2-piece solution and dont use fuzzy skin as the seam may be harder to sand and make less visible(although more experienced printers than myself may know how to make it work in their favour). -8mm Wide miniature hinges are required with a bolt hole spacing of 4.5mm. These come in pack of 20 or more on amazon for very cheap. -For hardware I use M1.6 screws. I purchase these on amazon under titles such as phone hardware repair kits.
