This 3D-printed spacer is designed to assist with mounting 9 mm rounded-edge drywall panels to a ceiling while maintaining a consistent 5 mm gap between the panels. The gap is intentionally created to allow joint compound or plaster to form a “mushroom head” that improves adhesion by locking the compound into the joint.
