The Gravebound Pilgrims aren't marching toward salvation. They're marching toward something simpler, colder, and way more honest: the end. Not as a threat, not as a tragedy - just as a fact they've already accepted, signed for, and sealed with blood and oath".Gravebound" isn't a nickname for doomed troops or cursed dead-men walking. It's a vow. Their graves aren't waiting for them... their graves are already claimed, already reserved, already part of the life. They fight with the calm of warriors who have nothing left to negotiate with the universe, because they've made peace with the only outcome that matters - and in doing so, they've become terrifyingly free. Their faith doesn't cling to rescue or reward. It's tied to death like an anchor, heavy and absolute, dragging every prayer downward instead of upward. The inverted cross isn't a cheap provocation. it's a signpost, pointing where their devotion is aimed - into the dirt, into the silence, into the last page of the story. Their rich armor isn't parade gear and it sure as hell isn't vanity. It's funerary plating, built like a burial rite you can wear, ornate the way a tomb is ornate: not to impress the living, but to honor what's coming. When they advance, they do it like men who already bought the one-way ticket and tore up the receipt. No retreat, no bargaining, no "maybe next time". Only the march, the mud, the gunfire, and the certainty that the grave isn't a punishment - it's a destination they've already embraced…
