This fractured console once anchored an entire warzone’s command net, its surface alive with tactical glyphs and shifting holo-maps. Now the top is scarred and buckled, frozen mid-display where the last barrage shattered its projectors and cracked the armored casing beneath. Officers still gather around its dead surface, tracing plans in dust and shrapnel grooves, pretending the war is still something they can control with a gesture.
