UPDATE - this is mostly complete. I have a version for the previous device/link ("v2"), but have also added a version ("v3") for a similar device, the XY-LJ02 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C5398NZ4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) that I highly prefer. The layout is almost exactly the same, very similar size, etc, but the original version (v2) uses a linear voltage regulator that gets inappropriately hot using >12V, and in my opinion is a hazard. For both devices, I've made a version with and without buttons. However, because the thickness of the wire you use (and how much you clamp down on it) this will change the distance from the case to the internal buttons slightly. So, I've designed it to use m3 bolts, screwed into the buttons (see pics). This way you can back it out slightly to get the pressure just right. Then old (v2) version has a built in strain relief whereas the new v3 has a tpu insert for strain relief. I might be able to make variants for each, but you really shouldn't be using the v2 device... NOTE This is an early-ish prototype, so it will continue to improve. I'm using these to control a heated blanket, so I want it to look good, so I will continue to refine it.
