Wall Thickness Measuring Tool for Folding Rule – 3D Print This 3D-printed tool is designed to easily and accurately measure wall thickness, for example when determining dimensions for doors or door frames. The measuring aid is attached directly to a standard folding rule (Zollstock) and allows the wall thickness to be read directly from the scale. The system consists of two 3D-printed parts that are mounted onto the folding rule. A movable slider is placed against the wall edge and transfers the measured thickness to the scale of the folding rule, making the measurement quick and precise without the need for additional tools.
