Waveguide for Beyma TPL150

Description

This is a waveguide for making it easier to integrate this tweeter in a 2 way design. The waveguide has a smooth directivity index with more narrowing in the lower end, making the paring with larger woofers possible. Mounting dimensions are 173.5mm x 153.5mm. The waveguide is 40mm deep, so great for making some time-alignment. Frequency response is not much different from original. Unfortunately I have lost my measurements on this one. One day I will upload it. I am also working on a larger rear chamber, that perhaps someday will be uploaded in this build :) I am working on a bigger waveguide for this tweeter. It is shown in the last two pictures. Once completed, it will be uploaded to this build also. My own preference is to use this tweeter with a bigger rear chamber, and to remove the filt that is glued in the back of the tweeter. This will produce a more uneven frequency response, but I had enough enough headroom in spl, so it was possible to shape the response back to linear within the crossover. happy building :)
