Amo la naturaleza, especialmente los animales, y quiero dejar mi aporte de fauna chilena. Es el gato salvaje más pequeño de América, alcanzando hasta 45 cms. de longitud y 20 cm. de cola, y pesando entre 2 y 2.5 kilos. Su color es generalmente amarillento, pero a veces llega a ser muy oscuro. Tiene manchas redondas y franjas negruzcas en su cuerpo, rayitas rubias en su cabeza, y anillos oscuros en su cola. Es un cazador nocturno de hábitos arborícolas, que caza roedores, marsupiales, perdices, palomas e insectos.
